Air or spring engaged, shaft mounted friction brakes come with tapered bores to accept QD bushings or straight, bored and keyed to size disc hubs. Bushings are available to reduce the size of the standard, straight bore models. Air engaged brakes are used for stopping, holding, controlled deceleration and tension control.
