September/October 2021

Enhanced site search — which includes more intuitive results and more robust filtering options
Multiple buyer roles (Buyer 1, Buyer 2, Buyer 3, and Requisitioner) have been activated in User Administration
Fixed issue with site messages and notification emails for approvers of Buyer 1, Buyer 2, and Requisitioner roles
More detailed Order Confirmation emails
Other minor improvements with back-end processes and bug fixes

More than five years of Order History now searchable by keyword, descriptions, and/or part number variants
Customers can now create their own accounts with the new “Create Account” form on the sign-in page

Now flagging previously purchased items with “Last Purchased on” date in search results
The main search bar was expanded to include an “Add to Cart” button to simplify and streamline the purchase process
Order history was expanded from a rolling 1-year history. It now goes back to January 2016 (5+ years) and will expand forward from there.

More accurate delivery timing for branches outside of main warehouse daily delivery area
Customer part numbers now appear at the top of search results when using exact match entries

Shopping Cart improvements — Now allowing customers to change quantities, add items to lists, and add line notes if needed.
Check out page enhancements — Streamlined look and feel while grouping details more effectively. We also made the ‘Place Order’ button move down the page as customer’s scroll
Search engine tune-ups that allow variations of model numbers to be found (ignoring spaces, dashes, and special characters)
Enhanced product detail — Now displaying Industry Standard Part # along with Manufacturer Part #, IBT Part# and Customer Part # (when available)
Reorganized and enhanced product listing pages to provide more information in a quicker, easier to read format
Enhanced warehouse availability information by adding colored icons and updated messaging
Made improvements to search functionality — Including adding the ability to search by industry standard part numbers, and giving more weight to product numbers in search results

Added the Knowledge Center to assist customers with learning site features and functionalities
Enhanced readability and usability features across the site
Improved user interface in Shopping Cart and Checkout
Improved user interface in My Account area
Improved user interface in Saved Orders
